Tech Team

Works alongside the Worship team on Sunday Service AV and Zoom production

Worship Team

Work with minister to Plan Sunday worship services; coordinate guest speakers when Minister is not in the pulpit; communicate and coordinate with Minister, RE Associate and Music Director.

Faith Exploration Team

Assist in classroom or nursery during Worship Services; plan and supervise special activities for children and youth; assist with Adult RE programs. Includes Adult, Children, and Youth.

Hospitality/Hosts Team

Works to make Sunday mornings welcoming.

Growth through Service Team

Support our congregation in discovering service opportunities that help heal our broken world, deepen our faith and spirituality, and build stronger relationships.

Fellowship Team

Organize social and recreational activities which build camaraderie and connections among our members.

Faith in Action Team

Aware of social action needs in the community, brings such needs to the membership’s attention, and coordinates Church participation.

Denominational Affairs Team

Advise Board and other members regarding the events and programs of the Unitarian Universalist Association.

Communications Team

Publish notification of events and circulation of other important information within the Church membership; as appropriate, disseminate information to the public at large.
“Publication” refers to print, online, and social media venues.

Membership Team

Develop programs for welcoming new members and guests; develop and pursue follow-up protocol for visitors and newcomers; hold informational meetings for those interested in membership and plan new member ceremonies. In consultation with the minister, the committee is responsible for the scheduling of regular classes for education in Unitarian Universalist principles, liturgy, traditions, and history for potential, incoming and interested current members.

Landscaping Team

Design and plant landscape; maintenance of grounds.

Memorial Garden Team

Help coordinate memorial markers and interment.

Building Team

Responsible for maintenance, minor repairs, and improvement to the building; manage IT and security systems; safety team.

CareRing Team

Provide services within the congregation that nurture, communicate, and honor one another in times of joy, sorrow,

Help find new team participants and leaders in GMUUC

Stewardship and Finance Team

Organize, promote, and manage scheduled fundraising initiatives; review proposals and assist with one-off events.

Ministerial Advisory Team

Serve as an advisory team member for our Minister's development and support
