You are always welcome at
Georgia Mountains Unitarian Universalist Church.
Planning your visit to GMUUC? Here are some common questions and answers that should help you know what to expect when you visit:
When and where are services held?
Services are held every Sunday. Our Worship Services are for all ages at 10:30 a.m. Childcare is provided for young children and babies but children of all ages are always welcome to stay with their parents in the sanctuary if preferred. Conversation and fellowship follows the Worship Services. We are located at 3155 Morrison Moore Pkwy E Dahlonega, GA 30533
Is parking available?
Is the church accessible for those with disabilities?
Are children welcome?
What should I wear?
Wear what is comfortable for you.
What can I expect when I visit a Sunday service?
A typical Sunday service at GMUUC includes thoughtful readings or personal stories from our minister or church members, Candles of Community, musical performances by our choir, singing together, and a sermon or presentation by our minister or lay leaders. View our Upcoming Sunday Services.
Will someone try to “sell me” on your church?
We want to make every visitor feel welcomed and comfortable. You will not be pressured or given a “sales pitch.” We are just glad that you have taken the time to visit us and hope you feel comfortable enough to visit again.
Where can I find a schedule of upcoming events and activities?
The GMUUC Calendar of Events has complete listings of activities and events. You may also view Upcoming Events. If you are interested in any of our activities, membership or volunteer opportunities, please call the office at 706-864-0661 or Contact Us and you will directed to the appropriate church Member or Friend.
Can I be involved in activities if I’m not a member?
Membership is not a requirement for activities. Music, social action, and socializing are available to all attendees! See our Connection page for more information about finding community at GMUUC through our many Covenant and affinity groups, committees, and service projects.
